“Where is my head” is a self-portrait intended to be a humorous yet haunting representation to human thought processing. Color is used for expression and the brush strokes are quick and bright. The brain rests on the shoulder as a parrot does, observing every move. The brain becomes the burden on one’s shoulder, and symbolizes the transition of the individual gradually accepting the consequences for one’s actions.
